Livestock slaughtering in slaughterhouses in September 2016

In September 2016 compared to September 2015, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses decreased (by 9.9% and the net decreased weight by 7.5%). The total number of slaughtered sheep decreased (by 26.6% and net weight decreased by 29.7%), pigs increased (by 14.6% and net weight of 68.7%) compared to the same period in 2015.

In comparison with the previous month, the total number of slaughtered cattle decreased by 8% (net weight decreased by 11.3%). As far as sheep’s, the total number of slaughtered animals is bigger by 3.6% (net weight of 11.9%), total number of pigs is bigger by 14.1% ( a net weight bigger of 10%).

Compared to the monthly average in 2015, in September 2016, less cattle slaughtered in total (by 15.9% a net weight less by 11.3%), sheep total less (by 5.5% and net weight of 5.9%) and pigs less (by 67.9% and net weight of 83.6%).

The number of slaughtered poultry decreased by 28%, a net weight decreased by 24.5% compared with the same month last year. Compared with the previous month, the total number of slaughtered poultry is increased by 42.6%, a net weight dincreased by 33.3%, while compared to the actual monthly average in 2015, the number of slaughtered poultry decreased by (25.9%, the net weight decreased of 22.6%).
