The average earnings (gross) in Montenegro in March 2017 are 762 Euro, while the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) are 508 Euro. The average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in March 2017 decreased 0.6% comparing to February 2017.The average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in March 2017 compared to March 2016 increased 4.1%, while they also increased 1.8% compared to the average monthly earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in 2016. Having in mind that consumer prices in March 2017 comparing to February 2017 increased 0.1%, the results is that real earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in the same period decreased 0.7%.

 

At the sector level the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in March 2017 compared to February 2017 increased in the following sectors: Other service activities (10.0%), Profesional, scientific and tehnical activities (5.2%), Administrative and support service activities (4.1%), Mining and quarrying (3.3%), Real estate activities (2.5%), Wholesale and retail trade (0.6%), Education (0.4%), Water supply, sewerage, waste management and remedation activities (0.2%), Construction (0.2%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (0.2%), while there was a decrease in the following sectors: Electrity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (12.6%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (4.6%), Transportation and storage (2.6%), Human health and social work activities (1.8%), Accommodation and food service activities (1.6%), Financial and insurance activities (1.3%), Manufacturing (0.9%), Public administration and defence, compulsory social security (0.3%) and Information and communication (0.1%).
