Balance of electricity 2016
Primary production of electricity in Montenegro in 2016 was 1 809.4 GWh, transformation output was 1 216.2 GWh. Total import of electricity was 1 209.8 GWh and total export was 905.9 GWh. Consumption of the energy branch was 118.0 GWh and distribution losses 540.7 GWh.
Total final consumption of electricity in 2016 was 2 670.8 GWh. The highest ratio in total consumption of electricity was in households 46.8%. in industrial activities 28.5% and other sectors 24.7%.
