External trade in goods of Montenegro January-November 2017

The total external trade in goods of Montenegro for period January-November 2017 is EUR 2 407.3 million, indicating the growth of 10.3% in comparison with the previous year.
 
The value of exports of goods was 334.8 million EUR, and import was 2 072.5 million EUR. compared with the same period of 2016, exports increased 14%, and imports increased 9.7%.
 
The coverage of import by export was 16.2% and it was higher compared to the coverage for the same period of previous year (15.6%).
 
In the structure of exports, in accordance with the Standard International Trade Classification (SITC), the most present products were Manufactured goods classified chiefly by material (Section 6), in amount of EUR 94.7 million (consisted of: Non-ferrous metals - EUR 65.7 million, and Iron and steel - EUR 16 million).
 
In the structure of imports, in accordance with the SITC, the most present products were Machinery and transport equipment (Section 7) with EUR 468 million (consisted of: Road vehicles - EUR 144.9 million, General industrial machinery and equipment - EUR 86.7 million).
 
Main trading partners in exports on an individual basis were: Serbia (EUR 57.5 million) Bosnia and Herzegovina (EUR 42.5 million) and Hungary (EUR 29 million).
 

Main trading partners in imports on an individual basis were: Serbia (EUR 455 million), China (EUR 188.2 million) and Germany (EUR 174.9 million). The highest external trade was with CEFTA parties and the EU member states.
