Livestock slaughtering in slaughterhouses June 2019
In June 2019 compared to the same month last year, the total number of slaughter cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro, increasing 1.7% (net weight increase of 8.8%). Decrease was on total number of slaughtered sheep and pigs compared to the same month of the previous year. The total number of slaughtered poultry it is decreased.
As compared to the previous month, the total number of slaughter cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro increased by 6.4% (net weight increased of 11.1%). Decrease was on total number of slaughtered sheep and pigs compared to the previous month. The total number of slaughtered poultry is decreased by 4.6% (net weight decreased by 16.7%).
In the period from January to June 2019 was decrease in the slaughter of cattle. Number of slaughtered cattle is 14 175 or 0.7% less than in the same period of 2018. Increase in slaughter for the same period is present in sheep and pigs, while in poultry is decrease.
