Prices of goods and services for personal consumption, measured by consumer price index, in November 2019, as compared to October 2019, increased by 0.1% on average. Consumer prices in November 2019, as compared to November 2018, increased by 0.5%. This was influenced mostly by increase in prices of: solid fuels; vegetables; garments; milk, cheese and eggs; shoes and other footwear; dental services. Consumer prices in period January-November 2019 compared to the same period of previous year, were higher for 0.3% in average.
Observing by main groups by purpose of consumption, in November 2019, as compared to October 2019, monthly increase of prices was noticed in the following groups: Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (0.6%); Clothing and footwear (0.5%); Food and non-alcoholic beverages (0.3%); Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (0.1%); Health (0.1%); Education (0.1%), while decrease of prices was recorded in the following groups: Restaurants and hotels (-1.6%); Transport (-0.1%); Communication (-0.1%).
Prices of other products and services mostly remained unchanged.
