This release contains data received through the Labour Force Survey conducted in the third quarter 2019 and the observation period was from July to September 2019. The interviewing was done in 2 101 households on the territory of Montenegro. There were collected data about demographic characteristics for members of the households (6 047 persons were surveyed) and data about economic activity for persons aged 15 and more (5 212 persons).

 

According to the data for the third quarter of 2019, there were 299.9 thousand of active population in Montenegro, out of which there were 254.2 thousands of employed persons or 84.8% and 45.7 thousand of unemployed or 15.2%. There were 199.9 thousands of inactive populations.
