Industrial production – PRODCOM 2019
The production of more important industrial products in Montenegro in 2019 can be presented in different manners. Important industrial products are products classified in the area of Activity Classification with the largest share in the total industrial production.
In 2019 the production of the following products increased compared with the production from 2018:
- Aluminum ores and concentrates from 468 164 t to 774 725 t, i.e. 65.5%;
- Cigarettes containing tobacco from 127 t to 462 t, i.e. 263.8%;
- Coniferous wood; sawn or chipped lengthwise from 102 089 m³ to 128 329 m³, i.e. 25.7%;
- Pre-coated aggregates from 40 659 t to 64 658 t, i.e. 59.0%.
In 2019 there was a decrease of production among the following products when compared with the production from 2018:
- Ready-mixed concrete from 1 117 063 t to 838 984 t, i.e. -24.9%.
- Ball bearings from 1 033 t to 816 t, i.e. -21.0%.
- Unwrought non-alloy aluminum from 40 163 t to 36 522 t, i.e. -9.1%;
- Steel castings for machinery and mechanical appliances from 17 949 t to 14 905 t i.e. -17.0%.
