In Montenegro, in individual accommodation in 2021, tourists realised 940 456 arrivals and 6 923 733 overnight stays. Of the total number of overnight stays, 99.0% were realized by foreign tourists and 1.0% by domestic tourists.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists in individual accommodation in 2021, the most of them were realised by tourists from Serbia (34.2%), Russian Federation (14.6%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (14.5%), Ukraine (8.2%), Kosovo (4.8%), Germany (3.7%), Poland (2.0%) and North Macedonia (1.8%). Tourists from other countries realised 16.2% overnight stays.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, in individual accommodation in 2021, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (97.3%), mountain resorts (1.6%), other tourists resorts (1.0%) and in capital (0.2%).
