Entrance of raw milk and obtained milk products

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairy farmers in the territory of Montenegro in the fourth quarter of 2022 is 6 508 127 kg and shows an increase of 5.6% compared to the same quarter of 2021.

The average content milk fat in the fourth quarter of 2022, compared to the fourth quarter of 2021, recorded an increase of 6.3%, while the average protein content recorded an increase of 7.0%.

In the fourth quarter of 2022, compared to the same quarter of 2021, was recorded an increase in the production of drinking milk (by 1.8%), cream (by 2.5%) and fermented milk products (by 10.2%). The production of dairy products in the fourth quarter of 2022 recorded a decrease in the production of cream (by 10.7%) and cheese (by 17.3%).
