Entrance of row cow's milk and obtained products in dairies
The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairy farmers in the territory of Montenegro in the first quarter of 2023 is 6 475 919 kg, and shows an increase of 10.3% compared to the same quarter of 2022.
The average content milk fat in the first quarter of 2023, compared to the first quarter of 2022, recorded an increase of 3.2%, while the protein content is lower by 0.3%.
In the first quarter of 2023, compared to the same quarter of 2022, was recorded an increase in the production of drinking milk (by 2.8%), cream (by 7.7%), fermented milk products (by 4.1%), traditional butter (by 14.4%), and other yellow products (by 155.3%), while cheese production recorded a decrease of 2.8%.
