This release presents the data on reported, accused and convicted adult persons – perpetrators of crime.

In 2011 there were 5 061 reported known perpetrators of crime, showing a decrease of 13% compared with 2010. The share of women is 12%. The number of unknown perpetrators of crime is 1 645, i.e. 25%. Number of accused persons compared with the previous year decreased approx. 18%, and number of convicted persons decreased 16%. The share of accused and convicted adult women is approx. 8%. In most frequent crimes against property, in 2011, share of reported is 27%, share of accused is 25%, and share of convicted persons is 25%.
