External trade of Montenegro January-July 2012


The total external trade of Montenegro for period January-July 2012 is EUR 1 254.6 million, indicating the drop of 1% in comparison with the same month of the previous year.
The value of exports of goods is EUR 213.3 million, what is 13.8% less compared to the same period of previous year, and imports are EUR 1 041.3 million, what is 2.2% higher compared to the same period of previous year.
The coverage of import by export is 20.5%, and it is lower compared to the coverage for the same period of previous year, when it was 24.3%.
Structure of exports in accordance with the SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) the most present products are Manufactured goods classified chiefly by material– Section 6, in amount of EUR 105.1 million (consisted of: Non-ferrous metals with the amount of EUR 87.3 million, and Iron and steel with EUR 12.7 million).
The structure of imports in accordance with the classification SITC (Standard International TradeClassification) is presented mostly products of Section 3 – Mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials with EUR 203.8 million (consisted of: Petroleum, petroleum products and related materials with EUR 121.8 million, and Electric current with EUR 74.3 million).
Main trading partners in exports with individual basis were: Croatia (EUR 54.9 million), Serbia (EUR 45.3 million) and Hungary (EUR 15.1 million).
Main trading partners in imports with individual basis were: Serbia (EUR 307.2 million), Greece (EUR 88.6 million), and Bosnia and Herzegovina (EUR 70.6 million). The highest external trade trend was with CEFTA and EU countries.
