The average earnings (gross) in Montenegro in September 2012 are 721 Euro, while the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) are 483 Euro. In comparison with August 2012, the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in September 2012 increased 0.6%.The average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in September 2012 compared to September 2011 increased 1.3%, while they decreased 0.2% compared to the average monthly earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in 2011. Having in mind that consumer prices in September 2012 comparing to August 2012 increased 0.4%, the results is that real earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in the same period increased 0.2 %.

At the sector level the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in September 2012 compared to August 2012 increased in the following industry sectors: Mining and quarrying (7.0%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (5.8%), Financial and insurance activities (3.0%), Transportation and storage (2.4%), Wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motor recycles (2.2%), Real estate activities (2.1%), Construction (2.0%), Professional, scientific and tehnical activities (1.5%), Water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (1.1%), Manufacturing (1.0%), Electrity gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (0.9%), Education (0.2%) while there was a decrease in the following sectors: Administrative and support service activities (6.2%), Information and communication (5.5%), Other service activities (4.9%), Accommodation and food service activities (4.1%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (3.1%), Public administration and defence (2.2%) and Human health and social work activities (1.0%).
