Survey on Income and Living Conditions
Legal basis
The Survey on Income and Living Conditions is conducted on the basis of the Law on Official Statistics and the System of Official Statistics ("Official Gazette of Montenegro", No. 18/12).
METHODOLOGICAL BASES
Purpose of survey
The Survey on Income and Living Conditions (SILC) is an instrument aiming at collecting timely and comparable cross-sectional and longitudinal multidimensional micro-data on income, poverty, social exclusion and living conditions. The survey provides two types of annual data:
ü Cross-sectional data pertaining to a given time or a certain time period with variables on income, poverty, social exclusion and other living conditions;
ü Longitudinal data pertaining to individual-level changes over time, observed periodically over a four-year period.
Data sources
Source of data are households in the territory of Montenegro.
Obligation to protect individual data
It is fully provided the secrecy of individual data on households and persons.
