Consumer prices index CPI - August 2011

Prices of goods and personal consumption services in Montenegro in August 2011 compared to July 2011 increased in average for 0.7%. Consumer prices in August 2011 compared to August 2010 increased for 3.6%, while compared to December 2010 in average higher for 3.0%.
At the level of main group of products and services by consumption target in August 2011, compared to the previous month, an increase in prices is present in the following groups: Housing (4.0%), Health (0.9%), Food and beverages (0.4%), Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (0.3%), Household furnishing and equipment (0.3%), Culture and leisure (0.3%), Transport (0.2%), Other goods and services (0.1%), while a decrease in prices is recorded in the following groups: Clothes and footwear (0.8%), Education (0.2%).
Prices of products and services, in groups: Communication, Hotels and restaurants remain at the same level of average prices as in the previous month.
