Legal basis for conducting this statistical survey is Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12).
METHODOLOGICAL BASES
Purpose of survey
The survey aim is to use the data collected for monitoring trends in maritime transport. Several surveys are conducted under the maritime transport: report on arrivals and departures of ships, report on maritime transport, as well as report on transhipment, and thus to provide a comprehensive overview of this area under the transport sector.
Coverage of survey
Survey on maritime transport covers companies under the sector H (Transport and storage) Area 50 and51.
Data sources
Data source of maritime transport surveys are companies.
Obligation to protect individual data
Individual data on the natural or legal persons are confidential and constitutes an official secret in accordance with Article 56 of the Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12).
