METHODOLOGICAL BASES
Purpose of survey
The purpose of survey on transhipments in maritime transport is to collect, process, and publish data on transhipment of goods performed by enterprises from service sector within the maritime transport. The aim is to process and publish the collected data, and thus to monitor dynamics and scope of observed phenomena changes.
Coverage survey
Survey on transhipments in maritime transport covers companies under H (Transport and storage), Area 52, and their activities are goods manipulation (goods loaded in ships, and goods unloaded).
Data sources
Data source of survey on transhipments in maritime transport are companies.
Obligation to protect individual data
Individual data on the natural or legal persons are confidential and constitutes an official secret in accordance with Article 56 of the Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12).
