Legal basis for conducting this statistical survey is Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12).
METHODOLOGICAL BASES
Purpose of survey
The purpose of survey on maritime transport is to collect, process, and publish data on inventory of transport means, transport of passengers and goods, as well as on vessels in maritime transport. The aim is to process and publish the data collected, and to enable monitoring dynamics and scope of observed phenomena changes.
Coverage of survey
Observation units for maritime transport report are all enterprises classified by Activity Classification under sector H (Transport and storage), Area 50 and they perform maritime passenger and goods transport activity.
Data sources
Data source of maritime transport survey are companies.
Obligation to protect individual data
Individual data on the natural or legal persons are confidential and constitutes an official secret in accordance with Article 56 of the Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12).
