Prices of goods and personal consumption services in Montenegro in December 2011 compared to November 2011 decreased in average for 0.2%. Consumer prices in 2011 December compared to December 2010 increased for 2.8%. The growth rate of consumer prices in period January-December 2011th compared to the same period last year was 3.1%.
At the level of main group of products and services by consumption target in December 2011, compared to the previous month, an increase in prices is present in the following groups: Household furnishing and equipment (0.1%), Communication (0.1%), while a decrease in prices is recorded in the following groups: Clothes and footwear (-0.9%), Food and beverages (-0.2%), Transport (-0.2%), Other goods and services (-0.2%).
Prices of products and services, in groups: Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, Housing, Health, Culture and leisure, Education, Hotels and restaurants remain at the same level of average prices as in the previous month.
