Purchase and sale of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in fourth quarter of 2017
The value of the purchase and sale of the agricultural, forestry and fishery products by business entities and agricultural cooperatives with two and more employees in the fourth quarter of 2017 was 7.9 million EUR, from which the value of the sale of the own production of business entities was 1.8 million EUR or 23.6%, while the value of the purchase from individual agricultural producers was 6.1 million EUR or 76.4%.
The value of the purchase and selling of the agricultural, forestry and fishery products by business entities and agricultural cooperatives with two and more employees, increased in the fourth quarter of 2017 comparing to the same quarter of previous year 3.5%, from which the value of own production of business entities decreased for 7.5%, and the value of purchase of agriculture products from individual producers increased for 7.4%.
The value of the purchase and selling of the agricultural, forestry and fishery products by business entities and agricultural cooperatives with two and more employees for the period January - December 2017 comparing to the same observed period of the previous year increased for 9.2%.
In the structure of the value of purchase and selling of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the fourth quarter of 2017 livestock by types and categories participate with 26.0%, row cow milk with 23.0%, vegetables with 14.1%, fruit with 10.7%, hen's eggs with 10.4%, other products with 7.6%, fresh fish with 5.9%, industrial crops 1.4%, cereals with 0.5% and processed fruit and grapes with 0.4%.
