At the sector level the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in January 2018 compared to December 2017 increased in the following sectors: Administrative and support service activities (10.2%), Information and communication (4.1%), Wholesale and retail trade (3.7%), Profesional, scientific and tehnical activities (3.4%), Electrity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (2.8%), Construction (2.8 %),Human health and social work activities (2.4%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (2.3%), Financial and insurance activities (2.0%), Mining and quarrying (0.6%), Transportation and storage (0.4%), while there were a decrease in the following sectors: Other service activities (14.3%), Public administration and defence, compulsory social security (2.3%), Water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (2.1%), Education (2.0%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (2.0%), Manufacturing (1.4%), Real estate activities (0.6%) and Accommodation and food service activities (0.3%).
