Purchase and sale of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in third quarter of 2018
The value of the purchase and sale of the agricultural, forestry and fishery products by business entities and agricultural cooperatives with two and more employees in the third quarter of 2018 was 11.7 million EUR, from which the value of the sale of the own production of business entities was 4.1 million EUR or 34.9%, while the value of the purchase from individual agricultural producers was 7.6 million EUR or 65.1%.
The value of the purchase and selling of the agricultural, forestry and fishery products by business entities and agricultural cooperatives with two and more employees, decreased in the third quarter of 2018 comparing to the same quarter of previous year for 10.4%, from which the value of own production of business entities decreased for 14.8%, and the value of purchase of agriculture products from individual producers decreased for 7.8%.
The value of the purchase and selling of the agricultural, forestry and fishery products by business entities and agricultural cooperatives with two and more employees for the period January - September 2018 comparing to the same observed period of the previous year decreased for 0.7%.
In the structure of the value of purchase and selling of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the third quarter of 2018 vegetables participate with 20.2%, row cow milk with 18.5%, grapes with 12.0%, fruit with 11.9%, livestock by types and categories with 10.6%, hen's eggs with 10.4%, other products with 9.3%, fresh fish with 4.2%, industrial crops 2.3%, processed fruit and grapes with 0.4% and cereals with 0.2%.
