Livestock slaughtering in slaughterhouses November 2018
In November 2018 compared to the same month last year, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro, decreasing 6% (net weight decrease of 12.5%). In sheep and pigs it was increase in the total number of slaughtered animals compared to the same month last year, while in poultry was decrease.
As compared to the previous month, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro increased by 3.8% (net weight increased of 15.8%). Decrease was on total number of slaughtered sheep and pigs compared to the previous month. The total number of slaughtered poultry is decreased by 13.6% (net weight decreased by 1.9%).
In the period from January to November 2018 was increase in the slaughter of cattle. Number of slaughtered cattle is 27 964 or 15.7% more than in the same period of 2017. Increase is also present in sheep, pigs and poultry.
