Livestock slaughtering in slaughterhouses February 2019
In February 2019 compared to the same month last year, the total number of slaughter cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro, increasing 0.1% (net weight decrease of 2%). In sheep and pigs it was increase in the total number of slaughtered animals compared to the same month last year, while in poultry was decrease.
As compared to the previous month, the total number of slaughter cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro increased by 13.3% (net weight increased of 15.2%). Decrease was on total number of slaughtered sheep and pigs compared to the previous month. The total number of slaughtered poultry is decreased by 23.7% (net weight decreased by 24.8%).
