Entrance of row cow’s milk and obtained products into the dairies December 2019

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro in December 2019 compared to December 2018, increased by 3.7%. Compared with the previous month, purchased milk increased by 2.2%.

The content of milk fat in December 2019 compared to December 2018 is the same, while the protein is decreased by 0.8%. Compared with the previous month content of milk fat is decreased by 1.5% and protein decreased by 1.2%.

In December 2019 compared to the same period in 2018 recorded an increase production of cream (by 11.6%), cream (traditional cream by 45.8%) and cheese (by 23.4%), but decreased was in production of drinking milk (by 9.2%) and fermented dairy products (by 2.9%).

In December 2019 compared with the previous month, increased was in production of drinking milk (by 0.1%), cream (by 4%), fermented dairy products (by 2.1%), cream (traditional cream by 12.4%) but decreased was in production of cheese (by 1.5%).

In the period from January to December 2019, the total quantity of cow's milk purchased was 27 969 554 kg and there was an decrease of 1.2% compared to the same period in 2018.
