Entrance of row cow’s milk and obtained products into the dairies March 2020

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro in March 2020 compared to March 2019, increased by 6.1%. Compared with the previous month, purchased milk increased by 6.6%.

The content of milk fat in March 2020 compared to March 2019 is increased by 0.3%, while the protein is increased by 3.3%. Compared with the previous month content of milk fat decreased by 4.5% and protein decreased by 0.3%.

In March 2020 compared to the same period in 2019 recorded an increase production of cream (by 4.7%), fermented dairy products (by 12.4%), cream (traditional cream by 10.9%) and cheese (by 16%), but decreased was in production of drinking milk (by 8.1%).

In March 2020 compared with the previous month, increased was in production of drinking milk (by 3.7%), cream (by 9.4%), fermented dairy products (by 19.7%), production of cream (traditional cream by 12%) and production of cheese (by 8.5%).

In the period from January to March 2020, the total quantity of cow's milk purchased was 6 822 221 kg and there was an increase of 8.5% compared to the same period in 2019.
