Entrance of raw milk and dairy products obtained in dairies


The total quantity of cow’s milk purchased by dairies in the territory of Montenegro in the first quarter of 2026 amounted to 7,283,685 kg, representing an increase of 10.9% compared to the same quarter of 2025.
The average milk fat content in the first quarter of 2026 decreased by 1.9% compared to the first quarter of 2025, while the protein content increased by 0.8%.
In the first quarter of 2026, compared to the same quarter of 2025, an increase was recorded in the production of fermented dairy products by 18.7% and cheese by 4.4%, while a decrease was recorded in the production of drinking milk by 18.4%, traditional butter by 16.4%, and cream by 4.8%.
