21.08.2014Livestock slaughtering in slaughterhouses in the period from January to June 2014
In the first half of 2014 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 11 531, ewes 10 799, pigs 3 385 and poultry 159 592.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 75% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
