In this release there are experimental results of Pilot project “Tourism Satellite Account-TSA” which was conducted by Statistical Office of Montenegro in cooperation with other institutions: Central Bank, Ministry of Tourism and Sustainable Development, National Touristic Organization, Faculty of Tourism-Bar and Institute for Strategic Studies and Prognosis. Project was financed trough IPA fund, financial pre-accession assistance to Montenegro, with expert help of professor Lea Bregar from Faculty of Economy from Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Experimental results showed that direct gross domestic products of tourism for 2009 is 298.015.680 EUR and its participation in GDP of Montenegro in 2009 in the value of 10.0%.
