The production of major industrial products in Montenegro in 2010 can be presented in different manners. As major industrial products we consider products classified by the activity classification with the highest share in the total industrial production.
In 2010 the following products indicated the growth of production compared to the production from 2009: lignite with the increase from 957 164 t to 1 937 847 t, i.e. 104.4%; electricity from 2 759 751 MWh to 4 169 009 MWh, i.e. 51.1%; and steel ingots with 13 817 t to 33178 t, i.e. 140.1%.
In 2010 the production of following products decreased compared to the production from 2009: heavy, light steel and light steel bars indicated the fall from 82 725 t to 33 178 t, i.e. 67.4%, beer from 456 896 hl to 423 799 hl, i.e. 7.3%, and wheat flour from 38 065 t to 31 408 t, i.e. 17.5%.
