Entrance of row cow’s milk and obtained products into the dairies December 2020

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro in December 2020 compared to December 2019, decreased by 0.1%. Compared with the previous month, purchased cow's milk decreased by 1.2%.

The content of milk fat in December 2020 compared to December 2019 decreased by 0.8%, while the protein content decreased by 0.2%. Compared with the previous month content of milk fat decreased by 0.7%, while the protein decreased by 0.9%.

In December 2020 compared to the same period in 2019, increase was recorded in production of drinking milk (by 0.5%) and fermented dairy products (by 2.1%), while decreased production of cream (by 2.9%), cream (traditional cream by 11.5%) and cheese (by 9.4%).

In December 2020 compared with the previous month, increase was recorded in production of cream (by 30.9%), while decreased production of drinking milk (by 5%), fermented dairy products (by 4.8%), cream (traditional cream by 9.6%) and cheese (by 3.6%).

In the period from January to November 2020, the total quantity of cow's milk purchased was 28 829 392 kg and there was an increase of 3.1% compared to the same period in 2019.
