In the second quarter of 2021 increased in the slaughter of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro. Number of slaughtered cattle is 8 187 or 15.8% more than in the second quarter of 2020. The net weight of slaughtered cattle in the second quarter of 2021 increased by 17.9%.
The total number of slaughtered sheep in the second quarter of 2021 increased by 19.2% (net weight increased by 28.3%). The total number of slaughtered pigs increased and weight also compared to the same quarter in 2020, while the total number of slaughtered poultry decreased.
