In the second quarter of 2022 there was an increase in the slaughter of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro. Number of slaughtered cattle is 8 655 or 5,7% more than in the second quarter of 2021. The net weight of slaughtered cattle in the second quarter of 2022 increased by 5.4%.

The total number of slaughtered sheep in the second quarter of 2022 increased by 18.2% compared to the second quarter of 2021.The net weight of slaughtered sheep in the second quarter of 2022. increased by 16,0%.The total number of slaughtered pigs compared to the same quarter of 2021, as well as the total number of slaughtered poultry decreased by 7.8%.
