Entrance of raw cow milk and obtained milk products in dairies
The total quantity of purchased cows’ milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro, in the second quarter of 2023 is 7 415 785 kg, and shows an increase of 4.6% compared to the same quarter of 2022.
An average milk fat content in the second quarter of 2023, compared to the second quarter of 2022, records a decrease of 1.1%, while the protein content is higher by 0.6%.
In the second quarter of 2023 compared to the same quarter of 2022, an increase in the production of cream for 21.7%; cheese for 21.8% and other yellow-fat products for more than 300% was recorded, while a decrease was recorded in the production of drinking milk for 10.7%; fermented milk products for 5.6%; and traditional butter for 1.1%.
