Entrance of row cows' milk and products obtained in dairies

The total quantity of purchased cows’ milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro, in the third quarter of 2023 is 7 203 786 kg, and shows an increase of 12.2% compared to the same quarter of 2022.

An average milk fat content in the third quarter of 2023, compared to the third quarter of 2022, records a decrease of 5.7%, while the protein content is higher by 2.8%.

In the third quarter of 2023 compared to the same quarter of 2022, an increase in the production of cream for 49.7%; cheese for 25.8%; fermented milk products for 22.1%; other yellow-fat products for 112.0%; traditional butter for 9.9%, while a decrease was recorded in the production of drinking milk for 1.8%.
