Entrance of raw milk and obtained milk products in dairies

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairy farmers in the territory of Montenegro, in the first quarter of 2024 is 6 998 740 kg, and shows an increase of 7.7% compared to the same quarter of 2023.
The average milk fat content in the first quarter of 2024, compared to the first quarter of 2023, recorded an increase of 2.0%, while the average protein content recorded an increase of 5.3%.
In the first quarter of 2024, compared to the same quarter of 2023, an increase in the production of traditional butter (by 36.5%), cheese (by 20.7%), fermented milk products (by 1.4%) and other yellow-fat products (by 112.9%), while a decline was recorded in the production of drinking milk (by 17.2%) and cream (by 3.2%).
