This release presents the results of the annual survey of industrial production according to the statistical classification of industrial products-PRODCOM list in Montenegro in 2023.

Industrial products are defined by code, name and unit of measure from the PRODCOM list.

In 2023, significant products that recorded an increase in production compared to 2022 are:

• 23631000 - Ready-mixed concrete for 27.9%;
• 07291300 - Aluminum ores and concentrates for 19.1%;
• 11021231 - Port, Madeira, sherry and other > 15 % alcohol for 18.0%;
• 10131120 - Hams, shoulders and cuts thereof with bone in, for 14.8%.

In 2023, significant products that recorded a decrease in production compared to 2022 are:

• 20511150 - Prepared explosives (excluding propellant powders) for -7.9%
• 28151030 - Ball bearings for -8.6%;
• 23991310 - Bituminous mixtures based on natural and artificial aggregate and bitumen or natural asphalt as a binder for -37.1%;
• 24421130 - Unwrought non-alloy aluminum (excluding powders and flakes) for -49.6%.
