The average earnings (gross) in Montenegro in October 2024 are 1137 Euro, while the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) are 944 Euro. The average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in October 2024 comparing to September 2024 increased for 7.6%, while the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in October 2024 comparing to the same month of the previous year increased for 17.6%.

Having in mind that consumer prices in October 2024 comparing to September 2024 stayed on same level the results is that real earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in the same period increased for 7.6%.

The methodology for the calculation of average earnings comprises all paid earnings in October, and not calculated earnings only for October (which are paid up to 15 November). Thus, the average earnings in the statistical survey for October does not refer to all October earnings which are paid by a majority of reporting units in November, but they will be a constituent part of the survey for November which will be published on the last working day in December. Accordingly, the effects of the Government Programme Europe Now 2 are not fully a constituent part of this release, but they will be fully covered by the next one.
