Transport of passengers in the third quarter 2025 compared to the same quarter of the previous year records in: railway transport indecrease by 0.2%, road transport decrease by 46.1%, local road transport increase by 2.4%, and passengers in airports increase by 9.2%.
Transport of goods in the third quarter 2025 compared to the same quarter of the previous year records in: railway transport decrease for 21,6%, road transport increase for 1,2%, total traffic of goods in ports increase for 4.1%, and goods in airports decrease for 10,1%.
Number of transhipped tonnes in ports in the third quarter 2025 compared to the same quarter of the previous year increase by 9.7%, and handled tonnes decrease by 2.8%.
Total number of traffic accidents1 in the third quarter 2025 was 2 148 which is 9,3% higher than in the same quarter of the previous year. Number of casualties2 in the third quarter 2025 was 1 091 (out of which there are 1 074 injured persons), which is 8,2% an increase of in the same quarter of the previous year.
Number of registered road motor vehicles and trailers in the third quarter 2025 is 88 893, which is an increase of 2.2% in comparison with the same quarter of the previous year. Number of the first time registered road motor vehicles and trailers3 in the third quarter 2025 is 9 482, which is an decrease of 7.0% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
