In the third quarter of 2025 there was a decrease in the slaughter of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro. Number of slaughtered cattle is 7 169 or 8.7 % less than in the third quarter of 2024. The net weight of slaughtered cattle in the second quarter of 2024 decreased by 2.8 %.
The total number of slaughtered sheep in the third quarter of 2025 decreased by 24.5 % compared to the third quarter 2024. The total number of slaughtered pigs is two times higher compared to the same quarter of 2024, while the total number of slaughtered poultry increased by 1.5 %.
