Primary production of electricity in Montenegro in 2025 was 1 828.0 GWh, transformation output was 570.6 GWh. Total import of electricity was 5 865.7 GWh and total export was 4 833.8 GWh. Consumption of the energy branch was 58.0 GWh and distribution losses 463.8 GWh.

Total final consumption of electricity in 2025 was 2 908.7 GWh. The highest ratio in total consumption of electricity was in households 55.8%, in the commercial sector and public services 38.8%, in industrial activities 4.5% and in other sectors 0.9%.
