Major revision in forestry statistics

In order to harmonize forestry statistics, a major revision is planned by the end of 2020, in accordance with the Statistical Office’s Revision Policy. This major revision arises from changes in the methodology for calculating data on forest area, production of forest assortments, and forest cut.

From 24 to 26 June 2019, a forestry expert visited the Statistical Office. The topic of this expert visit was establishing a system for calculating forest area, production of forest assortments, and forest cut based on available data sources.
