Statement on Commitment to Quality and the Implementation of the Principles of Official Statistics

At its session held on 25 February 2026, the Statistical System Council adopted the Statement on Commitment to Quality and the Implementation of the Principles of Official Statistics No. 01-078/26-824/1 of 25 February 2026, confirming its full support for the work of the system of official statistics in accordance with the principles of the European Statistics Code of Practice, which are incorporated into the Law on Official Statistics and the System of Official Statistics (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, No. 18/12, 47/19, 23/25).

By adopting the Statement on Commitment to Quality and the Implementation of the Principles of Official Statistics, the Statistical System Council expressed its commitment to strengthening trust in official statistics, based on European principles and quality standards of official statistics, thereby further strengthening public confidence in the professional, impartial and independent work of the system of official statistics.
