Industry

Industrial statistics, as a part of Department for Short-term indicators, presents significant economic potential of Montenegro with the aim to collect, process and present data on changes in industrial production and industrial turnover.

For these purposes, industrial statistics collect the data in monthly and annual periodicity for the follow surveys:

• Index of industrial production and industrial turnover
• Industrial production (PRODCOM)

For the mentioned surveys there are implemented an methodological guidelines for their conduction. Guidelines contains all needed methodological explanations related to the aim of survey, source and methods of data collection, observation units and coverage of survey, definition, harmonization with EU regulations and recommendations, confidentiality, as well as organization of survey, disemination and revision of data,  and there are dedicated to participants in conduction of survey and data users.
