Legal basis for conducting this statistical survey is Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12)

METHODOLOGICAL BASES

Purpose of survey
The purpose of survey was to provide the data on absolute poverty (poverty line – national absolute poverty line, poverty rate and other indicators) as well as inequality measures.

Data sources
Main data for the poverty analysis were taken from the Household Budget Survey - HBS. HBS is a national representative survey conducted by MONSTAT on a multi-annual basis, which is harmonized with the international standards and Eurostat recommendations.

Obligation to protect individual data
It is fully provided the secrecy of individual data on households and persons.
