The average earnings (gross) in Montenegro in April 2019 are 767 Euro, while the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) are 511 Euro. The average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in April 2019 comparing to March 2019 increased 0.2% and the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in April 2019 comparing to April 2018 increased 0.2 %. Having in mind that consumer prices in April 2019 comparing to March 2019 increased 0.1%, the results is that real earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in the same period increased 0.1%.

At the sector level the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in April 2019 compared to March 2019 increased in the following sectors: Information and communications (6.8%), Mining and quarrying (4.0%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (2.9%), Financial and insurance activities (1.9%), Transportation and storage (1.8%), Human health and social work activities (1.1%), Public administration and defence, compulsory social security (1.0%), Electrity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (0.7%), while there were a decrease in the following sectors: Real estate activities (5.2%), Manufacturing (3.7%), Administrative and support service activities (2.0%), Accommodation and food service activities (1.9%), Other service activities (1.8%), Profesional, scientific and tehnical activities (1.6%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (1.4%) and Construction (0.7%).
