Statistics of marriages aims to produce data that allow basic demographic analysis of population at the level of Montenegro and municipalities. The data are the basis for the calculation of a series of analytical demographic indicators. In 2021 in Montenegro were 3 196 marriages and 768 divorced.

The number of marriages in 2021 is 57.7% higher than in the 2020. The statistics of marriages in 2021 show lower number of divorces by 2.0% compared to 2020.
