On 26 July 2024, Statistical Office invited tender for the audit of code of software which will be used for control of their data on ethnical and cultural characteristics collected by the census of population, households, and dwellings. 

Tender procedure in this case represents a procedure of simple procurement of services – request for submitting tenders which is published in the Electronic System of Public Procurements (ESPP).

The estimated value of public procurement is 30 000 euro with VAT. The deadline for the submission of tenders is 6 August 2024. Pursuant to the Law on Census of Population, Households, and Dwellings (Official Gazette of Montenegro No 140/22 of 16 December 2022, 105/23 of 28 November 2023), Article 26a, the economic operator must be from the EU member country.

In accordance with the procedures, Statistical Office has established a commission for implementation of simple procurement. Additionally, the Commission for monitoring the establishment of software for checking data collected during the population census process will also monitor the implementation of this tender, as it is envisaged by the Law on Census. 

On further procedure of tender and other related information, the Statistical Office will timely inform the public.
