Entrance of raw milk and obtained milk products in dairies
The total quantity of purchased cows’ milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro, in the third quarter of 2025 is 7 552 615 kg, and shows an increase of 3.5% compared to the same quarter of 2024.
An average milk fat content in the third quarter of 2025, compared to the third quarter of 2024, records a decrease of 6.2%, while the protein content is higher by 1.7%.
In the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same quarter of 2024, an increase was recorded in the production of cream (for 4.2%), fermented products (for 0.1%), traditional butter (for 3.6%) and cheese (for 2.4%), while a decrease was recorded in the production of drinking milk (for 12.1%).
